More shipping updates
almost 2 years ago – Sat, May 21, 2022 at 02:44:06 AM

Hi folks!

UK and EU backers, you should be getting tracking notifications to the email addresses you used during the campaign, so if you get something and you're not sure where it's from, there's a strong chance it's us. Roughly 300 orders have shipped out so far, with the rest planned for the next couple of weeks.

US and Canadian backers, the boat has arrived in the US and our books are waiting to clear customs. Hopefully that'll be fairly swift and they will make the next leg of the journey before the end of the month, but this is a place where sometimes delays happen that are outside of our control. We'll keep you updated.

Everyone else, your books will be going out from our UK hub, so again keep an eye out for tracking updates.

Any issues, or if your book doesn't arrive in perfect condition, let us know at [email protected] and we'll do what we can to make it right. Thanks as ever for all your support.

Shipping update
almost 2 years ago – Fri, May 13, 2022 at 01:58:14 AM

Hello folks,

It's been a long road but we're nearly done!

For those of you in America (North or South) we have put a huge amount of books on a ship and it's currently chugging across the Atlantic towards you, or more accurately towards S2P Distribution, from where it will be packed into cardboard and sent to you on an individual basis. We'll let you know firmer dates once we clear customs, as importing things into the US can throw some unexpected spanners into the works at the best of times (but we've done everything we can to smooth it over!).

For those of you NOT in America, a different but similarly huge amount of books is currently in Nottingham, and Mail Workshop will be sending out your pledges in batches from Friday 13th May onwards - so you can expect to be receiving it soon!

As ever, we'll let you know about any developments as and when they happen. For now, thank you all for your patience throughout these delays. We're so proud of what we've managed to achieve - not only with Sin but the additional splatbooks as well - and we can't wait for you to see them in the flesh. Paper. You get us.

Yours,

- RRD

Conspiracy Kit and GM Screen product shots
about 2 years ago – Thu, Apr 28, 2022 at 12:55:17 AM

Our advance copies of the Conspiracy Kit and GM screen have arrived! Please enjoy the following beautiful pictures:

The Kit consists of: 12 NPC portraits, 6 location illustrations, a cardstock GM screen and a booklet with details on every potential conspiracy member and guidance for making your own shadowy network for your players to infiltrate.

The screen is made up of 3 panels in landscape format, which is lower and wider than traditional portrait format screens allowing easy ominous eye contract with all of your players.

The front side has illustrations of the three damnic goddesses with Our Hidden Mistress front and centre, drawn by Adrian Stone

The Conspiracy Booklet is a 48-page sourcebook which helps you use the material provided in the kit to set up a campaign.

Multiple tables provide motivations and assets; customise the NPC for inclusion in your own conspiracy
With a little blu-tack and ingenuity, you too can transform your GM screen into a serviceable Ministry conspiracy shrine
The back has some useful tables to generate NPCs...
... and rules references to speed up play.

Nice, isn't it? If you want one, you can add one to your order - or make a new pre-order - on our Backerkit. But be quick about it! We're going to lock down orders soon, though you'll be able to buy it through retail once we've fulfilled orders from this campaign.

That's all for now. We'll be in touch soon with more logistics updates soon.

Yours,

- RRD

Fulfillment update: non-US addresses locking April 26th
about 2 years ago – Fri, Apr 22, 2022 at 03:00:22 AM

Hi folks! Maz here with a fulfillment update.

Thanks for all your patience as we work through the issues on this one - and thanks to everyone who sent us feedback on the SIN cover, both here and elsewhere. We really appreciate it, and we're making the call to go ahead and send the book out as is to backers. We will also be separately designing a jacket for the book, and if that's something you'd like we will send it out to you free of charge once it's finished - separately, so that your parcels don't end up further delayed.

Our UK fulfillment partners Parcelhub have received all the books now except for the Conspiracy Kit; the GM screen is being printed separately and we're expecting those to arrive early next week. This means we can start getting individual parcels ready for fulfillment outside the US, and put together pallets for the long shipping trek to our US partners.

So, for non-US folks: please make sure your addresses are correct in Backerkit before April 26th, as they will be locked down from that date. We're expecting your parcels will then ship out over the following two weeks.

And for US folks, we'll keep the address change option open for about another 4-6 weeks. Shipping from the UK to the US is much less congested than it was a few months ago, and we're anticipating a 30 day transit time for the books - but we still need to get them to and from ports at both ends, as well as clearing customs, all of which can take time and is still much less predictable than it used to be. We'll keep you updated as we go along.

That's all for now - looking forward to getting your books into your hands.

Account name change
about 2 years ago – Thu, Apr 21, 2022 at 06:49:18 PM

Hello!

I’m changing the display name on this Kickstarter account to more accurately reflect the nature of the way we release roleplaying games. When I started out it was just me and a dream and some goblins, but we’re now running a business with employees and deadlines and everything.

So from now on, this account will be called Rowan, Rook and Decard - that’s our official business name.

In order to get the name changed I’m having to go through all my projects and post an update in each of them alerting you to it, so my apologies if you get several notifications which all say the same thing.

Our next Kickstarter (launching May 17th) is DIE the RPG, written by Kieron Gillen and illustrated by Stephanie Hans. It’s based on the comic of the same name, it’s absolutely gorgeous, and you’ll probably love it. You can follow along here.

Thank you all for your support over the years.
